Without looking
I put one on today
It felt so good
Custom-fitted my body
It had to be right
I flaunted as I went out
Positive I looked really cool
Returning home this evening
I caught sight of myself
In the hall mirror
Something was wrong
I went to my closet
Confidence was still there
No wonder I felt so good all day
And so many looked at me askance
I'm working on leaving arrogance behind
Practice will help
When confidence fits better
I'll take arrogance to the Goodwill
